ERNE has been supplying premium fittings for nuclear power plants since the 1970s.

In order to meet the standards required by our nuclear customers today, it was decided in 2015 to join the European interest group, Global Nuclear Metal Supply (GNMS), founded in 2014, in order to jointly create a state-of-the-art supplier in the nuclear field.

GNMS is a merger of the Tubacex Group (seamless stainless steel tubes), Loire Industrie (flange manufacturer), H. Butting (welded stainless steel tubes), Essinox (stockist of tubes, fittings and flanges for the nuclear market), and ERNE Fittings as the manufacturer of piping components.

One of the advantages for the customer is that both the supply chain within GNMS and the technical requirements from the customer are clearly defined from the beginning, so the feasibility can be worked out together with the customer in order to offer suitable technical solutions.

ERNE has integrated a nuclear safety culture and various processes and work instructions for nuclear projects into its quality management system, and has created its own specialist department.

Together with the GNMS partners, we have successfully delivered various reference projects in recent years.
Also outside of the consortium, several nuclear projects have been supplied with selected partners in recent years.
